9/11/17 Modeling Rutherford's Experiment

To start today we are going to draw and label your interpretation of the atom in your notebook.  Do not tear the page out.

We will follow this by examining (WITHOUT opening) the cases on the desks.  Our goal is to use the ball bearing inside the case to determine the layout of the inside of the case.  Points will not be deducted for guessing incorrectly but they will be deducted for cheating by opening the case to look inside.  Your goal is to complete as many as possible.  You will receive a 100 on today's lab if you complete at least 5 of the 8 stations.  A lab report will follow.  It will be due on Friday, September 15, 2017.

Finally answer the post investigation questions so you have no homework.
