CJH Robotics

Robotics is a part of the STEM initiative.
STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
In Robotics, students are able to apply lessons from Math and Science to build and program robots. It is our plan to use Robotics to increase students awareness and pursuit of STEM careers.

This year we are adding Lego MindStorm Robots to the Robotics experience.
These robots will be used to compete at the RARC events at CenturyLink in Monroe, LA.  Students from 3rd - 12 will be competing. Carroll Junior High Robotics students will compete in the middle school category against groups of students in grades 6 - 8.

We also plan to continue using the VEX Robotics that we began building in 2015. The students enjoyed the experience and learned some awesome programming techniques.

Robotics will continue as an after school activity!!
